Auburn Autumn
Vivid,
colours sway
damp,
in a downward descent
shades of passionate red, earthy,
ablaze,
auburn extremities,
meshed between bare branches
bright green transitions to worn out shades of gold,
a plethora of colours,
eloquently scattering themselves,
forming heaped piles,
covering the paved ground
complexions and complexities,
arrange themselves with delicacy
frolicking solemnly,
twirling through the lukewarm haze
in the midst of an autumn's day.
Winter's purgatory and Summer's end.
