Overpopulation
So many humans, so little humanity -
staining our world with superficiality -
passion runs reckless, tearing through wombs -
here lies fate, in dirt-covered tombs.
So many humans, their eyes cast down,
too many humans, scurrying around -
packed together like a tin of sardines -
filling up tubes with no place to be.
So many humans sound asleep -
jumping on bandwagons -
flocking like sheep.
The most sane of them all,
are easiest to break -
the most broken of them all,
are the widest awake.
